About Fairfield Medical Centre

The Fairfield Medical Centre was opened in 1949 on Howden Road with two doctors. In 1976, a third partner joined the practice so we moved to our existing premises.

This purpose built building now has eight doctors, five nurses and five administration staff.

We are an accredited teaching practice for the University of Auckland. Dr. Paddy Bhula is a teaching partner of the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences for the education and training of 5th year medical students in a community setting.

Fairfield Medical Centre also opens its doors to Wintec nursing students throughout the year, giving them the chance to gain experience working in general practice.

We aim to promote the physical and emotional wellbeing of people by helping to manage their own health.
